Lithography is an ancient printing technique drawing on a metal plate, using a greasy materials and special inks. For my lithograph, I used 8 different colors of ink, so I had to carefully layer each one to create the final image. Each color is printed separately, and it’s all about getting them to line up perfectly on the paper.
Inspired by the search and excavation of treasures and antiques, the concept of the poster links the study of the Earth's strata with current literature and art. Just as sediments have accumulated over millions of years, culture and knowledge have also been layered over time. In this way, finding a forgotten first edition is like discovering a lost layer of that cultural wealth.
